Who we are

A Place at the Table Church is a congregation invited together by Jesus and formed by His Holy Spirit to bring rest, renewal and transformation in the Charlotte area and abroad.
We envision a world transformed by our Father’s love.  We cannot do this alone, nor do we want to.  We desire to join with God and with others to see this happen.  So we are a collaborative congregation, seeking to discover and empower the grace we all have been given.
Jesus began this work and formed this home for us, here, now and always. In response, we are a worshiping community. Join us to delight in His presence and feast on the extravagance of this life we have in Him.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired and infallible scripture of God revealing Jesus to be the Word of God and final authority whose living and active Holy Spirit never contradicts the revealed will of God in scripture.

Matthew 28:!8; John 16:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

Meet Jesus

Jesus is here today, very much alive and very much desiring to know you and for you to know Him. In Him, you will find all you are looking for.
He is gentle, kind and patient so you’ll discover you can trust Him. He is also powerful and purposeful, giving you courage for a life of unimaginable meaning. In following Him you will be asked to let go of all you think you need to find all you will ever desire.
